How to enter for the Festival
To enter for the Festival, all we need is some basic
information about who's playing, which instrument they
are performing on, what music they plan to play and we
will take care of the rest.
Any questions, or things we might need to clarify, will
be taken care of by our team.
You will find the various forms available on our
downloads page and you can fill these in at any time,
as long as you make sure that we have them back by
the closing date for entries, which this year is the 22nd
PS - if you're reading this just after, or too close to
the submission date and you would like to enter
but you think you might have missed the
opportunity, don't worry. Please do not hesitate
to contact us . We will try and accommodate late
entries wherever possible
On the Day(s) of the Festival
Once you decide which class, or classes, to enter, then
all you need to do is make sure you arrive at the correct
venue in good time for your performance slot, with your
music, instrument, accompanist (if you need one) and
all your family and/or friends who want to come and
enjoy the performances of you and your fellow
musicians on the day.
We provide practice rooms at each venue for you to
warm up, if you wish. The only thing to make sure of is
that you arrive in good time before the session which
contains your class begins, which can sometimes be a
little before your actual designated class start time.
This means we don't have people coming and going
during, or in between performances, which can be
off-putting for performer and audience alike.
